We Are an API First Company
KYC2020 is 100% API first. Our entire front end, the DecisionIQ web interface that our customers use every day, is built on top of the same API library we provide to customers for integration. There is no separate or limited version of the API. Everything available on the UI can be accessed and configured via API.
Over the years we have built integrations into a wide range of third party systems and CaaS/PaaS platforms across industries including payments, banking, fintech, crypto, and MSBs. We continuously add watchlists and news sources as part of our core data operation, covering 193+ countries and 1,500+ global sources.
Two API Systems, Full Coverage
The platform provides two core APIs depending on what you need.
DecisionIQ API is for AML watchlist screening and monitoring. It handles ad hoc and batch screening against global sanctions, PEP, adverse media, regulatory, criminal, and high risk business lists across 193+ countries and 1,500+ sources. It also handles ongoing monitoring, case review and decisioning, alert management, configuration tuning, and watchlist data downloads. Response time is under 3 seconds, which makes it suitable for real time use cases like onboarding and payment processing.
AuthentIQ API is for identity verification and KYB. It covers photo ID verification, selfie and biometric checks, liveness detection, address verification, credit file checks (Canada), and configurable verification workflows. It supports webhooks and callbacks for real time status updates and produces consolidated PDF reports.
Both APIs are RESTful, JSON based, and secured with 256 bit encryption and API key authentication with optional IP whitelisting. Both can be used together for full compliance coverage: AuthentIQ for identity verification at onboarding, DecisionIQ for watchlist screening and ongoing monitoring throughout the customer lifecycle.

What Systems Can You Connect To?
Because the platform is API first, it integrates with any system that can make a REST API call. In practice, the most common integrations we see are:
CRM platforms like Salesforce, Zoho CRM, HubSpot, and Microsoft Dynamics. KYC2020 is available as a Salesforce app and also integrates with Zoho. The typical use case is triggering a sanctions, PEP, and adverse media screen automatically when a new customer, lead, or account is created in the CRM, with results written back to the record.
ERP systems like SAP, Oracle NetSuite, and Sage. Businesses use this for vendor onboarding, supplier due diligence, and third party screening within their existing procurement workflows.
Payment and fintech platforms. Payment processors, money transfer companies, crypto exchanges, and lending platforms embed the API into their signup and transaction flows for real time screening.
Internal or custom built systems. If your business runs on a proprietary onboarding platform or internal compliance tool, the REST API connects to anything that can make an HTTP request.
We also offer hosted web pages for low code deployment, which lets teams get screening up and running quickly without needing developer resources. For high volume batch processing, we support SFTP based bulk screening alongside the real time API.
